Urban Dictionary defines the Short Girl Syndrome as a condition where a girl has an aggressive attitude due to her height (generally below 5’5″), and people always looking down on her. She cute but honestly, when she talks you can tell she has short girl syndrome.
Here are some observations with a girl that has SGS.:

- She mostly dates tall men to compensate for her height insecurity. She will deny that her choice for tall men is an act of insecurity.
- Often refered to as cute, adorable, slim, and tiny.
- She is fit to carry on your back like a cute backpack, and hence easy to carry around. She will jump into his arm (or stand on their toes) to enjoy a hug.
- She tiptoes to reach into cabinets. She has to have a step ladder around the kitchen.
- Usually have a best friend that’s way taller than her, another insecurity makeup; that explains the high heel shoes.
Studies have shown that short women have that distinctive attributes that plague their male counterparts – the Napoleon complex. This is more manifested in men, hence the original reference as “Short-man syndrome”. The condition is of more concern in men than women since men are the typically taller sex.
